#ffffff;\">My Fire TV.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Select <span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">About.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Highlight the name of your Fire TV device.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Press the <span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">OK \/ Select button seven times<\/span> on your remote.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>A developer notification should appear.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Press the Back button.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>You should now be able to access <span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Developer Options.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>If Developer Options were already enabled, you can continue to the next step.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<div style=\"color: #ff0000;\"> APP INSTALLATION<\/span><\/h2>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>Return to:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Settings \u2192 My Fire TV \u2192 Developer Options<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>Depending on your Fire OS version, you may see:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Apps from Unknown Sources<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>or:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Install Unknown Apps<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>If individual apps are listed, enable permission for the app you will use to download Elite Media Hub.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>For example:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Downloader \u2192 ON<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<div contenteditable=\"false\">\n<hr \/>\n<\/div>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">STEP 3 \u2014<\/span><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"> INSTA<\/span><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">LL<\/span><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"> DOWNLOADER<\/span><\/h2>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>Return to the Fire TV home screen.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol start=\"1\" data-spread=\"false\">\n<li><strong>Select <span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Find\/Search.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Search for <span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Downloader.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Select the Downloader application from AFTVnews.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Download and install it.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Open Downloader.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Allow the permissions it requests when necessary.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Close the Quick Start Guide.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>Downloader is now ready.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>If you still cannot find Downloader using the steps above, click on this link for an alternative URL\/code entry box.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Enter:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4><strong><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">8729779<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n<ol start=\"3\" data-spread=\"false\">\n<li><strong>Select <span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Go\/Next.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Allow the Elite Media Hub file to download.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Select <span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Install<\/span> when the Android installation screen appears.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>When installation finishes, install every player.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>We recommend installing one player first. If you don&#8217;t like it, you can try another.<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">IMPORTANT:<\/span> Always read the description shown with an app before installing it. Some apps are not compatible with every Elite Media service.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<div contenteditable=\"false\">\n<hr \/>\n<\/div>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">OPTIONAL FIRE TV SETTINGS<\/span><\/h2>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>These settings are not required to activate Elite Media, but customers who want to adjust their Fire TV privacy and home-screen preferences may do so.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>Go to:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Settings \u2192 Preferences \u2192 Privacy Settings<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>Turn off the following options:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li><strong>Manage Sharing from apps<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Device Usage Data<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Collect App Usage Data<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Interest-Based Ads<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Amazon photos<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>You can also review the following and turn off the options:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Settings \u2192Preferences \u2192 <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>Data Monitoring<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Still watching<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>and turn off the following options:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>You can also review the following and turn off the options:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Settings \u2192Notifications\u2192 <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>Do not interrupt<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>App notifications &#8211; Turn off what you want on this<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>and turn off the following options:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Settings \u2192Preferences \u2192 Featured Content<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>If desired, disable:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li><strong>Video Autoplay<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Audio Autoplay<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>These options prevent videos and audio from automatically playing on your home screen and also prevent Amazon from monitoring.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Once you have completed these steps, you will have successfully enhanced your privacy settings on your Amazon device.
