ANDROID / ONN / NVIDIA SHIELD SETUP

Android and Google TV devices may have slightly different menu names depending on their manufacturer and Android version.

The general process is:

  1. Install Downloader or a compatible browser.
  2. Allow that application to install apps when prompted.
  3. Download Elite Media Hub.
  4. Install Elite Media Hub.
  5. Open the Hub.
  6. Install the player you want to use.
  7. Enter your Elite Media login information.

If downloader works correctly on your device, this is the easiest installation method.

IF DOWNLOADER DOES NOT WORK

Don’t worry. You have alternative installation methods.

OPTION 1 — USE TV BRO

This method is especially useful on Android TV, Google TV, ONN, and similar devices.

STEP 1

Search your device’s app store for TV Bro.

Download and install it.

STEP 2

Open TV Bro.

If asked whether you want to use a new interface/layout and your installation instructions require the classic interface, select the appropriate option to continue.

STEP 3

Use TV Bro to open the Elite Media App Store.

STEP 4

Allow the browser permission to download files if requested.

STEP 5

Download Elite Media Hub.

STEP 6

Open the downloaded file.

If your device asks which application should open it, choose the Android Package Installer.

STEP 7

Select Install.

When installation is complete, select:

OPTION 2 — USE YOUR DEVICE’S WEB BROWSER

If your device includes a browser:

  1. Open the browser.
  2. Go to the Elite Media App Store.
  3. Select the app you want.
  4. Download it.
  5. Allow installation permission if requested.
  6. Open the downloaded APK.
  7. Select Install.
