Amazon Fire TV Setup Guide
Install Elite Media Hub on a compatible Fire OS device, choose one player, and sign in using the login details sent with your order.
What you need before starting
Check the device model in Settings β My Fire TV β About.
Connect your Fire TV and make sure the Amazon Appstore opens.
Have the username and password sent with your order nearby.
Donβt create a new service username or password in the player. Use the details supplied by Elite Media, and check your Spam/Junk folder if the email is missing.
First: Check which Fire TV you have
These APK instructions are for compatible Fire OS devices. Some newer Fire TV models run Vega OS instead; the Android APK/Downloader method below does not apply to those models.
Fire OS device
Has the standard Fire TV installation menus and supports the Android APK installation method for your particular model.
Vega OS device
For example, Fire TV Stick 4K Select. Do not keep trying to install an Android APK; contact support with your exact model to check available options.
On Fire TV, open Settings β My Fire TV (or Device & Software) β About and read the device name. Menus differ between models and software versions.
Step 1 β Install Downloader
Go to the Fire TV Home screen
Press the Home button on your Fire TV remote.
Find the Downloader app
Choose Find / Search (or open the Amazon Appstore) and search for Downloader by AFTVnews.
Look for the orange Downloader icon.
Download and open it
Select Get / Download, then Open. Allow the file-access permission if prompted and dismiss the quick-start screen.
Check the Appstoreβs Utilities category. You can also follow our Downloader app-finding guide. If your device uses Vega OS, do not try to force the Android APK method.
Step 2 β Enable Developer Options if needed
If Developer Options already appears on your Fire TV, you can go straight to Step 3.
Open About
Open Settings β My Fire TV β About (some devices say Device & Software).
Press Select seven times
Highlight the device name and press the remoteβs center Select button 7 times. You may see a developer confirmation message.
Go back one screen
Press Back. The Developer Options menu should appear where supported.
Step 3 β Allow Downloader to install the Hub
Open the installation-permission screen
Look for Install Unknown Apps or, on older Fire OS versions, Apps from Unknown Sources.
Find Downloader and switch it ON
If you see an app list, select Downloader β ON. If your Fire OS shows a single older-style permission switch, use that setting.
Make sure it is installed first. If the list is unexpectedly empty, it may be a Fire OS software issue. Go to Settings β My Fire TV β About β Check for Updates, install available updates, then restart Fire TV and check again. Do not reset your Fire TV or keep enabling unrelated permissions just to make the app appear.
Step 4 β Download and install Elite Media Hub
Return to Downloader. In its URL/code box, enter the code below and select Go.
Wait for the download
Allow the file to finish downloading before pressing any other buttons.
Choose Install
When the deviceβs installer appears, select INSTALL. If Fire TV asks for permission, approve Downloader as described in Step 3, then return to the downloaded file.
Open Elite Media Hub
When installation finishes, select OPEN. If the installer closes instead, check Your Apps & Channels for Elite Media Hub.
The Hub is ready. You normally do not need to repeat the Downloader steps.
Other Elite Media Installation Options
If Elite Media Hub is not the best option for your device, you can also try one of these Elite Media alternatives.

Step 5 β Install ONE player and log in
Open Elite Media Hub
Find your purchased service and the available player options.
Choose one compatible player
You do not need to install every app. Read the description below the player for service-specific exceptions; pick one to try first.
Use your Elite Media login
Enter the username and password supplied with your order, and the service-specific portal URL if the player asks for one.
π οΈ Fire TV troubleshooting
Choose the problem closest to what you see on screen:
Downloader finished, but no Install button appeared
Open Downloaderβs Files section, find the APK you just downloaded, and open it again. If prompted, select the deviceβs package installer. If the file is missing, repeat the download; if it exists but will not open, check installation permission for the app that opens it.
Downloader is missing from Install Unknown Apps
Confirm Downloader is installed and has been opened at least once. Check Settings β My Fire TV β About β Check for Updates and restart. A Fire OS software issue can make the unknown-apps list appear empty. Install any available Fire TV updates and restart, then check again. If it remains empty, contact support with the exact device model and software version. Do not repeatedly toggle unrelated settings.
Install is blocked or the APK says it is incompatible
Confirm your device is a supported Fire OS model and that you used the correct Elite Media Hub code. Do not disable unrelated security settings or install a look-alike app from an unverified download link. Send the exact error to support.
Elite Media Hub opens blank or closes
Restart Fire TV, check your connection, then reopen the Hub. The Elite Media Troubleshooting Center has backup-player options and installation recovery instructions.
Can I use these steps on Fire TV Stick 4K Select?
No. Fire TV Stick 4K Select uses Vega OS, not the Android-based Fire OS APK workflow shown here. Ask support about your deviceβs compatible options rather than following the unknown-apps steps.
βοΈ Optional Fire TV settings
These are preferences, not required installation steps. Change them only if you want to.
Settings β Preferences β Privacy Settings. Review the data and advertising controls available on your device.
Settings β Preferences β Featured Content. Adjust video and audio autoplay if those switches appear.
Settings β Preferences β Notification Settings. Customize interruption and notification preferences, if available.
Some Fire TV models can offload rarely used apps when storage is low. To manage this, look under Settings β Applications β Auto Offload. Leave it on to conserve storage, or turn it off if you prefer to manage apps yourself. The option is not on every model.
β Your Fire TV is ready
Downloader β Hub code 8729779 β Install β Open Hub β Choose one compatible player β Enter your service login.
The built-in menu illustrations above are examples, not actual screenshots of a specific Fire TV model. They require no image uploads. Menus, permissions, and app availability can differ by device and system version.
